Trying to delete my account

Hey everyone,

 

So, I'm trying to delete my account because when I created it, I wasn't smart enough to realize that including the name of a well-known coorporation might not be such a great idea. I've requested my account to be deleted and got an automatic response in my inbox almost immediately, saying that somebody would look into my request. I just got a response from one of the Spotify staff members asking me for my:

 

-Reason for leaving

-Date of birth

-Post/Zip code

 

Unfortunately, they didn't provide a link or any further instruction as to where I am supposed to give them this information. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

I'm planning on making a new account, but want to separate myself from any businesses, to avoid any potential future conflict with possible employers and whatnot.

 

Thanks to anyone who can assist me through this step.

You need to reply back to the support email with this information.

 

The information is required to make sure you are the owner of the account and to make sure it's not just some random guy trying to close down the account.

Thanks for the info. I thought the email said not to respond to it, but when I looked more closely it appears that you are right. I should have everything set up the right way in a few days!
