I am panicking! I made one spotify account with my facebook, but then made another one with just an email/not with facebook. I rarely/never use the one that is not linked to facebook, and today when I tried to log in with my normal facebook account info it prompted me to log into my other account so I did. Now even with my facebook account info it's taking me to my other account and my access to my main use account is gone! I know this is confusing but please help!

I suggest you submit an online contact form; and someone at Spotify should be able to get it all sorted for you.
If you get an automated reply; make sure to reply to it directly (even if it's from a no reply); and it will be sent to the Spotify staff.

how long does it take for the spotify team to respond? and also why dont they have a fail safe if you started spotify with your facebook account and only have a number username.

well they sorta do, if you set a password for other devices under your Account Overview, then you can login using your number username and the set password
