Ugh -- linked new account to wrong Facebook, and now lost ALL playlists. Need. Urgency.

I've seen a lot of issues with Facebook accounts being sync'ed with the wrong Spotify accounts, and Mods have helped so I am hoping they can help.

First of all, I created an account thru email. I was in the settings online, and wanted to 'sync friends' but with my second Facebook account that I don't use! Basically, I suspend my original Facebook account and need access to Spotify so I use my second Facebook account.

Don't let that confuse you.

So I wanted to sync my new account 'rowebil' to my rowe.billy Facebook account. I was logged into my rowebil Facebook account, and now Spotify has wiped all of my playlists out and it looks like a new account.

I don't want any 'username' account to my Facebook account. When I created the account yearsssss ago, it used Facebook. I liked that. But I accidentally sync'd 'rowebil' spotify account with the wrong Facebook account.

My old Spotify username is "126175500" and I need that back linked to my original Facebook account. 

I also cancelled my subscription and need that back as well. Basically, I messed up my whole account, and I hope there is a button in the back-end that will restore this account to what it was 1 day ago -- linked to my rowebil Facebook account, and subscribed. 

For Spotify username 'rowebil', please remove that from the "rowebil@a...." Facebook and put "126175500" back on -- if that's possible.

Thanks and I really hope this can be resolved. My Face got so red when I saw ALL my playlists removed. lol. Like my eyes opened up so wide, they might have riped. 

Also, I disconnected all three accounts from Facebook so it's ready to go.

Hi,

You should be able to reactivate the 126175500 account by clicking on a track at www.facebook.com/music.  That should pair the FB profile with your old Spotify account.  If this does not work, please send the support team an email asking for a password reset - that would then give you a link to set a temporary password and then let you link the FB profile via www.spotify.com/account/overview.

Alternatively,  I can simply transfer the playlists over from your old account to rowebil.

When I login, it is showing another username, not 126175500. 

I don't want to remove my 126175500 account, but maybe I should try to remove the Spotify app from my Facebook settings?

The rowebil account would be nice, but I really want it to be linked with my Facebook because I get to see what my friends are listening to. 😕 

 If I move all of my playlists, could I link that account to my Facebook?

I don't want to mix confusion.

Could you please send a support email listing your three usernames?  We will then get the 126175500 account recovered for you. 

Please post the case ID into a reply to this thread.  I will then be able to chase it up for you.

Absolutely -- here it is!

I have even selected 'reset password' as you suggested.

The emails are Facebook accounts, and 'rowebil' is a Spotify account that I made via an email address.
