Unable to Join Family

Unable to Join Family

My sister has made a family account which has premium, but when I try and click redeem on the family invite email, I keep getting: 

 

"Sorry! We cannot join you to Premium for Family since you have subscribed to Spotify Premium from another store (e.g. iTunes or your mobile operator). Find out more below.".

 

I've only ever paid for premium through Spotify's website, and I don't use an iPhone.

Try resetting your account, maybe that helps

Hey @amritpriyadarsh,

 

Try logging into your Spotify profile on your browser here with your email. Your username will be displayed after you login.

 

After that, check the status of your subscription. It should read 'Your subscription is associated with our partner...' or something like that.

 

If that's the case, you need to contact them and cancel the subscription, before you can use your Family invite. Any other status (Free or Premium through spotify.com) should let you accept the invite.
