My Question or Issue

Hi,

I'm experiencing an issue with logging into my Spotify account. I was suddenly logged out, and when I try to log back in using both my username and password, as well as my email and password, I receive an error message saying that the account does not exist.

When I attempt to create a new account using the same email address, I get a message stating that the email is already associated with an existing Spotify account. I have also tried resetting my password, but I am not receiving any password reset email.

 

And i have to make a new spotify account to even post the question:(

Thanks for reaching out. Not to worry, we'll gladly set you on the right path to getting your account back.

 

What you've described seems like the classic example of a so called disabled account. This means that your account likely still exists but was disabled by the system for one reason or another, meaning that logging into it is impossible. Creating a new account also won't work as the email is still in use on the old one.

 

To clarify why exactly the account was disabled and of course to regain access to it, you can reach out to our support team and they will gladly assist you further. When doing so, make sure to have all your payment and account info on hand, as those will be necessary for search and verification.

Hello, my Payment for Spotify Family failed and my account was deleted. Now I have paid manually via Bank and also upgraded from Free to Family via Paypal. Now I have paid two times, but I just want to reactivate my old account, and do not want to make everything new again.
