Unable to Upgrade my Spotify Gift card to Premium

I just purchased a Spotify gift card and selected the Unlimited option, but I would like to upgrade my account to Premium using this gift card.  There appears to be an upgrade option but in order to continue I need to add a Credit/Debit card. 

Is there a way to upgrade my account without adding a debit card?  I made the mistake and selected the incorrect option when I applied my gift card.

You will need to get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to get that swapped over to premium for you. Just let them know you accidentally redeemed for the wrong subscription, its easy to do!

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
