My Question or Issue

I'm trying to update my payment settings for my premium account from an expired swedish card to a US one (after getting a notification the payment did not go through in the mail)

When I click to enter new payment information, I can then click the "change country" link below. However, once I click this button, I'm taken to a page saying my plan is not supported in this country, and lists non-relevant subscriptions (family, duo and student) as alternatives.

If on the other hand I just enter US payment details, it just complains the country is wrong.

Do anyone know how to wrangle this setting so that spotify will allow me to purchase an individual subscription?

Thanks for coming to the Community.

 

In this case, I recommend that you cancel your subscription, wait for your account to revert back to free, and then change the country setting using the dropdown list, as explained here.

 

Once that's been done, you can re-subscribe to Premium here using your new payment method.
