Unable to change current account email to another deleted account email

My Question or Issue

I am unable to change my current account's email address to that of another old deleted account.I have deleted another account of mine which had an email address which I wish to use in my current account.It has been more than a week that I deleted that account.Yet when I try to change the email address of current account to the other one it shows the deleted account email in still in use.So I tried to reopen the deleted account email address account via forgot password option but it shows the opposite that the email isn't linked to any Spotify accounts.

Please Resolve this issue.

Welcome to the Community and thanks for reaching out about this.

Once you've closed your Spotify account, your data stays stored for up to 14 days for legal and security purposes, after that it is completely cleared from the system.

In this case, we suggest that you wait another week to try again.
