Unable to change email~

Hi

I tried making a Spotify about a few months ago with an email and it said there was already an account associated with it. So I used the one I currently have on my Spotify account--but I want my main email on my spotify: [snip - mod edit - email]

How can I remove my current email and add this in place of it? Thanks~!

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

If you are getting the email already in use message, then you most likely have an extra account somewhere in the system, most likely accidentally created using Facebook. Its an easy problem to correct, just get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to remove the extra account for you, meaning you can then change your details on your online profile.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
