Unable to change my email address

I've changed my Facebook email address long before creating a spotify account, But somehow my spotify account still uses my old email address, I've tried changing my email address on facebook but it's been two weeks now and I'm still stuck with that old address. Can anyone help me?

Try changing your email address on spotify.com then check your new email address once you change it. They will send you a confirmation code.

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community!

If your account was created through Spotify, you'll need to update the email registered on your account directly on Spotify. 

All you need to do is head here and follow the steps below:

1. Click EDIT PROFILE.
2. Under Email, enter your new email address.
3. Confirm your password.
4. Click SAVE PROFILE.

However, if your Spotify account was created through Facebook, it won't be possible to update the email address registered on Spotify due to privacy reasons.

In that case, you can reach out to a member of our support team so that they can get this updated for you. You can find more info on how to do this here.
