Unable to connect my Spotify account to my last.fm account

Hi,

I've been trying to connect my Spotify account to my last.fm account, however when I type in my username and password it keeps coming up saying that they are invalid. I know for a fact I am using the correct username and password but I don't understand why it isn't working.

I have the same issue in linking with my Echo - using premium on my mobile but none of my credentials work on the Alexa app (I know the creds are right as I've just used them on a brand new mobile)
