Unable to log in - no error message

I'm trying to get started with Spotify, but this is really frustrating.

 

This is happening in the App:  I try to log in after having registered - I type in my email and password and nothing happens. 

 

If my password is wrong, it displays the error message "Your email and password combination does not match a Spotify account. Please try again". If the password is correct, the login button turns to "LOGGING IN ..." and turns back to "LOGIN" without any error message. The login with my laptop is working and I also tryed changing the password.

Hey @Peg81, thanks for reaching out.

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstallation of the app. Just follow the steps here.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?
