Unable to log in on a new device

Unable to log in on a new device

replaced an old iPad, installed Spotify in the new iPad Pro, each time I try to log in get an error message: "you already created an account with this email address". I have reinstalled Spotify, have re-booted the device, deleted Spotify from the old device, all to no avail.

if I try to reset my password, get error message stating the email is already being used....

please help!

You can log into your Spotify profile on your browser here with your email. Your username will be displayed after you login.

 

Logout of the app in your phone, and be sure to use that username to login back to your account.
