Unable to purchase Premium

When I go to purchase the Spotify Premium with a VISA card (as I have done in the past) the purchase fails. When I am going to enter the card number in the 16th number is automatically dropped down to the expiration date. I always fix this manually c and out it back at the top. I then fill out the rest of the information. When I click confirm purchase it processes for a few seconds then says that the transaction could not be completed. Is there a way to fix this or am I doing something wrong?

There have been a few reports of this recently, is it possible to try a different browser?

I have tried on chrome Firefox and on my phone I get the same error on all three
