Unable to see updates on friends playlist

I subscribe to a friends playlist but I'm unable to see a lot of the songs on the list. The songs are not local to the computer she is using Spotify on. We both use PC's and we are both Premium users and we are both in the same country. Funny thing is that I can't seem to even find some of the songs she has on her playlist when I search for them. We both come up with different results where she finds the song in question immediately and I don't. Even if I cancel my subscription to her playlist and then add it again allt the songs won't show.

Why doesn't her playlist update on my PC when she adds songs? I have the same problem on my Iphone and Ipad.
