Unable to signup

Unable to signup

Hello, 

 

My wife is experiencing some trouble with her signup. She's simply trying to signup with either her Facebook account or email "maud.beha @ gmail.com"

  • When trying to signup via Facebook is says email_already_taken
  • When trying to login via Facebook it says there is no Spotify account linked to this account
  • Finally, when using the "forgot my password" button for this email, it says that the account was created via Facebook, and any change should occur in there

We are stuck. How to proceed? Is there any way to remove any reference to this email in the user database so that we can signup properly through Facebook?

If you have ever used the same email address before to sign up through Facebook you won't be able to use again.

Here is the thing: she has never used this email to signup on Spotify before.

This is a new email created recently, and recently tied to the Facebook account. I guess there is a issue with the way the data is pulled through the Facebook signup API, don't you think?

There seems to be something wrong signing up through Facebook 

 

What you can do instead is to created a Spotify account without using Facebook here.

 

When you have signed up through Spotify you can just connect your Facebook account manual here in the buttom of the page.
