Unauthorized Device

Hello everyone,

I was hoping for advice on removing an unauthorized device from my Spotify account. Currently when I open Spotify on my mobile or computer there is another device listed as "Echo 9000". I do not own, or know anyone that owns and Amazon Echo. The first thing I did was change my password, then promptly log out of everywhere. No matter how many times I click the log out of everywhere button the device is still listed. The button logs out my browswer, the player in the background, and my phone simultaneously but the device "Echo 9000" is always still listed as soon as I log in. The device has begun listening to music I do not like and it shows on my recently played as well as changing the recommendations from Spotify. I haven't had them take control from me yet but I'd like to prevent that.

Well as humorous as this was, I managed to force the user to log out by switching the track to extremely heavy metal when I noticed they were streaming Pitbull to the device. My password change seems to have stopped them from getting back in for now. This really needs to be looked at, seeing as I even tried logging out of everywhere while the device was streaming. I logged back in on my pc and they were still listening.

I have just experienced exactly the same thing.

I went through the same routine, changed password, signed out of everywhre but still kept coming back.

Ive been playing the trolls soundtrack OVER AND OVER at full volume, i can see that it disappears when i start playing to that device but then quickly re-appears.

Its as if the amazon authorisation token to alexa is broken or cross linked.

I cant see any way that they would have guessed my password especially instantly after it was changed. There must be some issue either on Amazon or spotify's side causing this. 

For now the device is gone, i removed the amazon alex app from my account and so far it hasnt re-appeared (1 hour ago).
