Unsearchable on Spotify!

It's been almost a year since I've become unsearchable on Spotify. Whenever a friend wants to look up my Spotify profile, it does not appear. Neither do my playlists. I have to send them direct links so they can find them. Is there any way to fix this? I was thinking of maybe unlinking my account to Facebook and then linking it back again, but I don't know how to do that. Does anyone know how to fix this? I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

How you find people is different depending on whether the person you are trying to find created their account using Facebook or if they have a dedicated Spotify username and password.

If they created their account and have a dedicated username and password, then you are using the correct search to find them.

If they created their account using Facebook, then their username will be a string of 10-digits (like yours) which you need to search for using the same method as above. 

As you signed up with a Facebook account, you can't unlink them - you have to make a new one and start over 😕

Hi, sorry for the super late reply. I hadn't seen this. Thanks a lot for the reply. Then, wy am I actually able to find my Facebook friends with no problem just using their names? What's really bothering me is that I have a playlist with 134,000 followers and when people search the name for the playlist, it should appear at the very top of the search results, however it just doesn't appear at all. This has been happening for months already.
