Unwanted Device

Unwanted Device

I noticed someone else was listening to my account today, on a device called "Kimberly's Echo." Only, I don't know a Kimberly, and I can't seem to unlink the device. I've tried removing online devices, the "sign out everywhere" feature, I even set up passwords needed through Facebook, but I can't figure out how to block this device. Please advise.

Hey @heatherb0622!

Thanks for coming to the Community for help.

We can see from the screenshot you sent that this device is available for Connect, but it's not using your account. Keep in mind that you'd see there all the devices that are near you or that are using the same network.

This doesn't meen they're able to log in to your account.

Let us know if you have other doubts.

At the time that I took the screenshot, I was listening on my own device. However, I've experienced multiple times where my listening is interrupted as it tells me the music is being used by a different device, the one listed in the picture. Is that still just from being on a nearby network? The other thing I've noticed, is that it is always present on that list, regardless of where I travel.

Got it @heatherb0622!

In that case, we suggest logging out of all devices and changing your password.

If after doing this you notice other devices using your account again, we'd recommend you get in touch with us via this contact form.

You can also find us on Facebook or Twitter.

Give us a shout, we'll be happy to help.
