Updated my payment on old log in account

I updated my payment on the wrong profile. I want to cancel or transfer that payment to the right profile.

Hey @Jfrandsen1 thanks for reaching out to the community with your question,

 

To cancel and delete your payment info, do the following:

 

1. Go to your Subscription and payment overview --> http://spotify.com/account/subscription/

2. Click UPDATE DETAILS. If it shows below 'Would you like to cancel your subscription?' click there and cancel.

3. Check the box to 'Remove', and click 'Change' button,

 
Note: If you have your Premium active you won't be able to remove your payment info. That's why it's important to cancel before clicking UPDATE DETAILS.
 

Without any payment details, no new charges can be made, but if you're an iphone user, you do need to check your itunes subscriptions for Auto Renewals and turn it off for Spotify.

Thanks for posting here! 

 

Just jumping in here to confirm that cancelling is easy (especially with the exact steps @Jᴀᴄᴋ gave). 

 

After you cancel successfully and check it's done for sure on your subscription page, you can simply use up your Premium time left on the old account.

 

When the subscription on the old account has reverted to free, you can transfer any music content from your old account to your new one.

 

Then, it would be best to close the old account, which will prevent further confusion in the future.
