Updating Email Address

Hi,

I cant update the email address on my account as it says the address is already taken. If it is, its my account - how do i resolve so I keep my existing account and password but change the email address ?

Welcome to the Spotify Community, we're glad to see you're part of th band.

In this case, you'll need to close the account that was created with the email address you'd like to use following the steps here. 

Once this account is closed, you can update the email address in your current acocunt here and keep all your info.
