Upgraded to Family, but we share and compete for a single Premium account

Upgraded to Family, but we share and compete for a single Premium account

I just upgraded to my Premium account to a Family account, so my wife (who did not already have an acount) and I could use Spotify independently and simultaneously.

However, we share and compete for a single Premium account, my original account...

What to do?

I turned out that she was logged in twice, once as me on the app, once as herself on the web. That explains it.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for your help.

Hey @KC71, welcome to the Community!

Can you give us a little more details about what's happening?

We'd love to help.

We have different usernames and passwords, so we don't share the same log-ing.

But only one of us can use Spotify at a time. When one uses it, the other is blocked, and the app says "You are listening on XXX".

Thanks for replying.

That means that you are using the same account without realizing it. We'd recommend making sure of what your usernames and passwords are by logging in here.

Let us know how you get on.

Our usernames are different and our passwords are different. She is also listed as active on the list of family members...

Thanks for checking!

Can you send us a couple of screenshots showing how your wife and you are logging in?

We'll take a closer look.
