Upgraded to premium family but not getting premium benefits

Upgraded to premium family but not getting premium benefits

I have upgraded my premium account to the premium family account, I sent the link onto my partner and when he has went through all the details he does not have the benefits of premium it is saying the administrator must update details but there isn't anything to update I can see him as active on the account details so there's nothing I can do, he said he cannot search for anything.

Hello,

Welcome to Spotify!

 

Has your partner tried the following?:

  • Restarting Spotify
  • Relogging into Spotify
  • Restarting the device
  • Reinstalling Spotify

 

If those methods don't work for him, try removing him from the Family subscription and adding him again.
