Upgrading a 1 Year Prepaid Premium To Family Account

I have a premium account (fully paid for 1 year, expires 8/2017).  How do I upgrade that to a family account? I don't want to pay twice.  Or if I need to cancel, can I get a refund prorated?

Also, do you offer 1 year prepaid Family accounts?  Or is it only monthly?

Hi Marcelo. Welcome to the Spotify Community!

Question is, do you use gift card to get the 12 months in advance? Since it's already active, I think you can still upgrade to Premium for Family, but it will shorten the Premium time remaining on your account. You can't also use gift card to activate that subscription.

Premium for Family requires a recurring payment, so 12 month paying in advance is not an option. Check this out this page from Spotify as it may help you decide whether to upgrade or not, but Premium for Family is a steal 🙂
