My Question or Issue
If I accept an invitation to upgrade my Premium membership to Family Premium membership, will I lose all my existing playlists or will they transfer automatically?

Each user on the Family plan has an active private account.
Upon accepting the invite, your private account joins a plan where instead of paying yourself, the owner of the plan who invited you pays for all the members.
Meaning, even when on a plan, you log in with your credentials and your account will stay the same as it is right now.
