Username changed to 10-digit number

My Question or Issue

 I recently noticed that my Spotify username has been replaced with a 10-digit number. I have researched this issue via posts from other users dating back to 2014 and have tried mulitple "solutions" such as deleting/restarting applications (both mobile and desktop), logging in through my facebook account, logging in via play.spotify.com, etc.., but I have not been succesful in recovering my orignal username. This is quite annoying as I use my account to make collaborative playlists and share music with other premium users and now my name is not searchable.

You're not the only person with that problem.

Thank you for the reply and link. 

I've followed the moderator's solutions from the linked post allowing Spotify to have access to my facebook info and adjusted my privacy settings accordingly. 

After a few login attempts, the username is still showing numbers, but I imagine it will take some time for the issue to resolve, correct? 

If this is the case...I have nothing but time.

You should give it about 48 hours and you might have to log out and back in for the changes to be visible.
