Username is not a bunch of random numbers?

So currently, everyone has a bunch of random numbers as a username, right? Both new and old users. However, it seems that my username isn't that, it's exampleusername (not that litterally but just how it looks, don't want to give away my real username). I never got premium since I can't afford it, but I am curious as to why my username isn't a bunch of random numbers even though everybody elses is, it doesn't bother me, just curious.
