Username is not the same as I chose

Hey, pls ignore my bad english 😄
My problem is, that I chose during the registration which username I want to use. Spotify did'nt refuse it, so I thought, that its okay. But now, my username is not the same as I tipped in. It says "97n3qy61xk1v6yb5adhm0siz". Why?

Hey @xNoir42x,

That's because Spotify has recently changed some things in their sign-up form. Users are now asked to choose a display name instead of a username.

Users can set their display name to whatever they like and the usernames are generated by the system.
