Verified as student, but cannot access Student Plan page

I successfully confirmed my status as a student and the page says "You may now access the exclusive student pricing at Spotify. Please click here to be directed back to Spotify to access your offer." However, when I "click here" it sends me to my Account Overview page, where it wants to charge me $9.99 for premium. How do I access the screen with the Student Plan?

Sorry for the trouble! There is currently a glitch with the student discount page for some people. The website team is still trying to fix it.

I do not believe "there is currently a glitch with the student discount page for some people". I think Spotify makes it as difficult as possibly for people to get a discount so give up and just pay $9.99/month instead.

I got an email from support and they fed me more misinformation about my Facebook account being deactivated, which is not true.

I just want the run-around to stop and get my student discount.
