Volume Equalizing

The songs sound like a wanna be DJ is playing with the sound. Every song. The volume sounds like it is on 10 for a verse then jumps to 2 for the next 3 verses, the jumps back. It changes at least 20 times in each song, and won't stay consistent more than 10 seconds.
I have tested it on YouTube, to see if it was my speakers. YouTube played perfectly fine. It is only on Spotify

To get a better understanding of the situation, we'll need some details such as does this happen only on one device or multiple ones? Have you noticed when it started happening? Was it after an update of the app for example?
