Want to cancel Premium, but paid today...

Want to cancel Premium, but paid today...

After bebefiting from a 3 month trial, i was fully charged today for the premium account. If i cancel my acocunt now, will i benefit from the month i just payed or will i loose what i just payed for ? Ideally, i would like to be refunded at the same time i cancel my premium subscription. Is this possible ?

Hey @erickbo,

 

You can get a refund before 15 days have passed from the date of purchase. Fill out the contact form, and someone from Spotify will be happy to help you within 24 hrs. Don't forget to check your spam folder for responses as they may end up there.

 

If you get an automated email directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to support@spotify.com and one of the customer services agents will get back to you.

Similarly, my trial 3 month is approaching the end date and I'd like to cancel my subscription before I get charded (I'm just not using it as a much as I thought).  I'm trying to cancel under 'Subscription', but there's no way to do so - it only prompts to 'Upgrade to Premium as per attachment. 

Is there a help desk I can call to arrange cancellation?

Hey @blackstar15,

 

Did you get an email receipt for your subscription purchase? Search for one of them in your email account. In it, the Spotify username you're paying for is shown:

 

Username/ID:        xxxxxxx

You can login to the website with that username to check the status of your subscription, and your receipts.
 
In there you can cancel if you want to, and delete your payment info.
 
The screenshot you posted is from a Free account, with no Premium subscription to cancel.
