Want to make a new free account but the name is not available

I want to make a new free account to use for my radioshow JazzNotJazz but the name is not available. I used another email account to make the new account.

The name JazzNotJazz was used a few years ago by a guy who made the radioshow before me, but he deleted the account (he said). Is this old account name still registered in Spotify, so it's not available to use, or?

I could not find the name jazznotjazz when i searched in the Spotify desktop app.

Hey there!

With my past experiences with multiple accounts in mind, I'm pretty sure that you cannot  reuse a Spotify username for a new account even after it's been deleted. I tried it before and it didn't work for me.
