Wanted to join family trial, had to go premium and got charged for both!!

Wanted to join family trial, had to go premium and got charged for both!!

Tried to sign up for Family Plan.  Had to take out Premium and was charged.  Also been charged for Family plan when its supposed to be a 3 month free trial.  Please help fix this.

How do I get refunded for Premium charge when I am on the Family Plan??

Welcome to Spotify Community and thanks for reaching out here!

Firstly, the Premium trial, in any modality, is for users who haven't gotten the Premium subscription ever. In your case, I suppose that you've subscribed for the Premium and then, tried to subscribe for the Family trial, but you've lost the eligibility to join the trial when you've subscribed to the Premium plan previously.

In your situation, I don't think you will be able to receive a refund... However, if you want, you may reach the Customer Support out anytime.

Thanks for your help - was really easy once you supplied the contact link -
couldn't find it yesterday. They've refunded the charges 🙂
