Was Premimum and now want to switch to student discount

My account I was paying for was subscribed to Premium but since I am a student I would like to take advantage if the student discount membership. Though I can't find where to switch it to the student membership since I already had premium beforehand, it only gives me the option to upgrade to the family membership. I don't want to make a new account just to get the student discount because then all my saved music will be gone.
