Was charged earlier than my subscription started

Was charged earlier than my subscription started

My PayPal account shows I was charged for the month of 3/2/17-4/2/17 and I clearly canceled my Prenium subscription today, 3/1/17. I didn't want spotfiy prenium for this upcomming month so I cancelled it today, a day ahead of time and was charged anyways. Why?

Hey, I suggest you to contact Spotify team with the contact form with this link: https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/contact-spotify-support/

They will be able to help you with that situation.

I'm not a Spotify employe.

Hey @alopez333, welcome to the Community!

 

The first thing to do is check your email for a Confirmation Email. Each user receives one after cancelling their Spotify subscription. 

 

It shows that I canceled it 3/1/17 but was still charged 3/2/17-4/2/17. I did get the email

It sounds like you've got a second account with Spotify. Are there any other email addresses you could have used to register with Spotify? It's worth checking those inboxes to see if you have any Spotify emails--that will mean your extra account is registered with that email. 

 

If you don't have another email address, note how you log into the Spotify app usually. 

  • If you use your Facebook details try entering your Spotify username (if you created one originally).
  • If you use your Spotify username try entering just your email address.
