We're sorry, that email is taken

Hi,

 

I am trying to change the e-mail of my spotify account till my mainly used e-mail, but when I do "We're sorry, that email is taken." pops up. 

 

Theres no other account connected to this e-mail, as I've just changed an older account with the same e-mail to a different one. 

 

Please help me out

That's odd. Did you switch the email address from your other Spotify account recently? If so, it may be worth a shot waiting a day to see if it updates. In any case, I'll escalate this message backstage.

Do you still have this issue? I'd suggest opening an incognito or private window and heading to your old's account overview page to verify you're not seeing the email address you wish to have in your new account.
