What's happened to my £4.99/month subscription?

I have been paying £4.99/month for probably 3 years with the monthly payment coming off my credit card automatically each month. That card expired recently but the only option open to me seems to be to subscribe to Premium @ £9.99/month. I want to continue on the product which I contracted for. I cannot afford £9.99/month.

Hey @bikingkate,

Unfortunately, the Unlimited plan has been discontinued by Spotify quite a while ago which means that updating the payment method, cancelling the subscription or other changes to the subscription will make it impossible to get the Unlimited plan again so only Premium for Family, Premium or Premium with Student Discount are available at the moment.
