Why can does my friends profile show up when i search their display name

I searched my friend's display name up and it came up with his profile, meanwhile while i search my display name up, nothing comes up

There are many factors when it comes to deciding if a profile shows up in Search.

Generally, the more followers you have, the more likely it is that you'll appear in Search.

Hi Julian,

Sorry to hear your are having issues with your searching! You may have to type out your full display name exactly in the search bar, especially if the name you are searching for is an artist and not a user (this is because there are so many artists people search for, similar to what the comment above stated)
