Why can't my friends follow me back?

I logged in with facebook, and I can find and follow my contacts perfectly and they can see I follow them; however, when they try to follow me back, they just can't, the follow button in my profile doesn't seem to work, when they click it, it shows "following" but then back to "follow" in an instant.

This seems like an issue with the developers. One thing you can try is creating a new account, or if you want to keep this account, then ask spotify. Here is the link to contact spotify; Contact us.

Do some of you guys have premium while another has the free version of Spotify?? When the app updated a couple months back, I still had the free version at the time in which my ability to search/follow other users was gone. I switched to premium because I was fed up with it, and the problem you describe persisted for a couple of days on my account. Now it is working fine!
