Why is my address only my province?

Why is my address only my province?



Trying to upgrade to a family plan but payment keeps failing because my address is listed as my province only with no other details. I was never asked to input it and when I click edit, it only allows me to change the province and I can't add more details.


The credit card won't process unless I add my full address and I can't seem to find a way to do that even via google.


Please help!

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community.


Based on the description of your post, we're understanding that you're having issues with updating your payment information. If that's the case, we'd recommend using an incognito window when as it doesn't keep that info saved.


It's also a good idea to try on a different device to see if you'll experience the same.


In case you're still unable to update it, we'd suggest that you try using another payment method. More info about how you can pay for Spotify can be found here.

Hi, this answer did not help at all. When I go to change my address my ONLY option is a drop down menu of provinces. NOTHING else.

If you're in Canada, there's no need to enter anything else besides the province. Why did you assume this was the reason your payment was failing? Did you get an error message or a notification? If yes, please share a screenshot so we can check on our end.


Also, please note that your Premium Family plan's address is entered separately. More info on updating it here.
