Will I loose Premium if I move to another country?

I live in Czech Republic but right now I'm in Spain for summer. I have been here for two weeks, and could use Spotify with Czech Rep. selected as my country. Two days ago I got error 408 which required me to change location to Spain if I wanted to log in. Right now I'm thinking of trying Premium trial for one month. If I link my Czech debit card to the account and activate Premium in Spain, will I be able to use Premium service when I move back to Czech Republic and change my account location to CZ?

Hey @sanzhar_g,

Your payment card country must match your country in profile, and the country of your IP address, so it's better for you to keep CZ as your country in profile to get Premium. Changing to Spain will force you to use a spanish payment card.

Thank you for the reply, do you also know who could help me change my profile country back to CZ? I was basically forced by Spotify to change it to Spain, and now I have no option to switching back to CZ location in settings.

You need an CZ IP address for that. There are two ways to do it. First, through a proxy like this one. But be careful of using it just to change your country in profile, and not for entering your payment info, since it may not be that safe.

The other option is to ask someone from your family or trusted friends in CZ to do it for you. This is a safer option in my opinion.

In both cases, change your Spotify password after it's done. 🙂
