My husband and I want to set up a duo premium subscribtion. However, I want to listen to audiobooks, so I will have to be the manager of the account and invite him. However, will he be able to keep all his settings, playlists and favorites if he joins 'my' duo account? I cannot find this info anywhere on the site and want to make sure before we set this up. Hope you can help me out, thank you so much in advance.
We will use the accounts on Motorola and Samsung phones and on a pc/laptop (Windows 11). We live in the Netherlands.
All the best,
Rachel

Hi @RachelN1,
Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community, and welcome!
No worries, Spotify users keep all of their playlists, saved music, and settings no matter which plan they switch to or from; so your husband won’t lose this content by joining your Premium Duo plan.
You can sign up for Premium Duo here and then invite your husband to the plan by following these steps.
Feel free to read more about how Premium Duo works in this FAQ article, as well as to read more about switching between different subscription plans in this support article.

On a slightly different angle to the above, I have a Family account with my wife but no-one else. I want to switch to a Duo account. It seems my wife will have to sign in again. Question is, will she lose all her playlists (or alternatively how will she retain her playlists)?
Hi @MW100,
Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community, and welcome!
No worries, Spotify users keep all of their playlists, saved music, and settings no matter which plan they switch to or from; so your wife won’t lose any of her playlists if you switch to Premium Duo and then re-invite her to your plan.
When you change your plan from Premium Family to Premium Duo, your wife's account will revert to the free service at your next billing date (which you can view on your account page). At that time, you'll be able to invite her to your new Premium Duo plan by following these steps.
Note, however, that since downloading music for offline listening is a Premium feature, your wife will need to re-download any playlists or albums for offline listening once she’s joined your new Premium Duo plan.
Also note that members can only switch between different Premium Family or Premium Duo plans once in 12 months.
Let me know if you have any other questions, and have a good day!
Great. Thanks very much.
