Won't let me upgrade to premium

Won't let me upgrade to premium

I've used 3 different credit cards and none of them are letting me upgrade to premium. They all say "oops something went wrong"

try on a different browser or computer.

Tried a different computer and browser but didn't work.

Try contacting Spotify support directly because it is mostllikely an issue with your account itself and not your card.


I am having the exact same problem. did you ever figure it out?

I'm sorry I haven't, I just made a new account and it worked. Contacted spotify and they told me to do the same. So I did, they'll move your playlists/songs to your new account if you contact them though.

Yeah that was my next recommendations and I would just shut down old one after making copy of playlist that way you can get the old username back and use same email.

I'm having a simualar problem where I pay but nothing happens and I get returned to the upgrade screen. I have tried multiple browsers and devices but nothing changes... anybody got a solution??

Are you trying to use a credit card to pay or paypal?

 

Try using a private window (incognito mode).

When I go to get premium on the app... It's either I can't find it, or it's not showing up anywhere.
