Wrong name/username

My Question or Issue

 I used to login with Facebook. And the user info show me my name and profile pict but now suddenly it changes itself to a username. I already tried to re log in or wait for a few days but nothing changes yet. Hope you guys can help. Thank you

Hey @user-removed!

Sounds like you might have opted out of sharing your data with Facebook. You can check this on your account page here.
You should also make sure that on Facebook's end here, Spotify has to be allowed to have access to personal data.

I too have recently have the wrong username. I've noticed that my profile picture and account name has changed. My badges have been removed yet this account is affiliated with MY email. I don't have any other accounts. My original username is suppose to be: Preticle.

I do not use Facebook to sync my accounts.

What do I do?!

Thanks for reaching out. I'll be here to help you out. Does your username appear as lots of random numbers as well? If so, can you try having a clean reinstall of the app to see if that does the trick?
