My Question or Issue

So, I didn't have enough cash on my card when the subscription was due, so I got a warning of the failure of payment. When I clicked the link for putting back my card information, I didn't check and just subscribed to Premium Family instead to Premium Student, having been charged accordingly. Now, I try to reverse back to Student, and it doesn't let me do it; there is no button when I try.

 Is it possible to just move from Family to Student and get the remainder back?

In this case, there's a couple things I'd recommend doing:

 

  • First of all, you can learn how to cancel you Premium for Family subscription here.
  • Then, you can start a new Premium for Students subscription here.
  • If you'd like to ask for a refund of the extra price you've paid for, I'd recommend checking out Spotify's refund policy here.
