Your country does not match the one set in your profile - error

Your country does not match the one set in your profile - error

All of a sudden I cannot log into the Spotify app on Windows 10.

I keep getting an error saying my country does not match.

I haven't moved country or anything and it won't let me connect.

What's going on?

Please make sure that the correct country is set here.

It is set correctly and I cannot change it.

Why can't I change my country? I think that will fix it.
It obviously thinks I am in the UK when I am in Ireland so if I can change the country it should fix it.

Are you using some kind of VPN/Proxy?

Not at all.

I did just check http://whatismycountry.com/ and got back Rivendel in Switzerland even though I am in Ireland so something is definitely wrong there.

No VPN/proxy is enabled on my machine but looks like the IP is routed nonetheless.

Hi, could you please help me? I have the same issue, it says "your country does not match", but when I want to change the country, it shows me only UK or Netherlands. I am not in any of those countries and yes, I use proxy otherwise Spotify does not work in the network I am connected in.  😞

And it all worked for some time, just today it stopped working. 

Not even webplayer works for me now...
