Zip code invalid

Solved!

Zip code invalid

I am trying to rebuy premium after taking a hiatus but I can't get through the zip code screen. It's saying its invalid but it's not. I live in the US, am using a US zip code, and I am currently in the US trying to buy this so what is the problem?? I need this before my flight in 30 minutes.

Ok, yay, it finally took my ZIP code this morning, and everything is working swimmingly. Didn't mean to be so grumbly, but it was extremely frustrating to not be able to get past that barrier. At any rate, thanks for your help and patience!

Same thing is happening to me, but I live in Canada. Anyone know what to do?

416 is not working. It's the Toronto zip code, which is probably the biggest one in Canada..

I am having same problem. I am in HK where has no zip code....

help!

i'm trying to change my profile from US to Canada too.  It is not recognizing my postal code as being valid.  My Canadian postal code contains 6 alternating alphanumeric characters (X1X1X1).  Please help!

Same issue here. I live in Alberta, Canada. The postal code format is X1X1X1. Was just trying to edit my profile, but cannot make any changes as it won't even accept the postal code that's been in the postal code field for at least half a year without a problem.

So this problem hasnt been resolved yet? I'm actually quite frusterated I cant use this while Im at school, instead of constantly switching back and forth through youtube. I might as well just save myself the money if a small problem like this still hasn't been fixed. Im Canadian and using my Canadian Postal Code, yet it still asks me for a ZIP. I tried usin all capitals and just pressing enter instead but none of that works. So now I have to wait longer for a response and to file a ticket.

Having the same issue. I've sent 4 emails to Spotify support now for assistance and received the same generic response each time. These were not 4 separate emails either, it was a chain back and forth with several different representatives. Each time I was given the same suggestions which do nothing. I've been trying to resovle this for 3-4 days now with no luck.

I live in Canada, my account and billing are set to Canada, my postal code is correct on my profile and it is correct when I try to purchase premium as well. This is not a case of user error, but yet the support I've received so far from Spotify amounts to the following:

-Make sure you use capital letters

-Try entering all 1s (really? if it won't take a valid postal code why would it accept 111111?)

-Try again

-Let us make the change on our end and then try again (never happened after 2-3 days of waiting)

-Try a different browser (I indicated in my email that I have tried on Chrome, Firefox and my Android tablet)

I have yet to receive instructions on how to turn it off and on again.

Any timeline on this being resolved?

Same here.

I used to have Spotify Premium, then I changed credit card numbers so the payment failed.  Now when I try to re-upgrade it informs me my zip code is invalid (was trying to use a canadian postal code.  Tried everything suggested including Paypal but same error.  This must be a new problem as I was a subscriber before.

But if they don't care to solve the problem, then no big deal.  The mobile version was glitchy with the premium.  Would delete playlist and songs I had downloaded spontaneously.

This is still being looked into. If I hear any news about this, I'll let you know.

I have been attempting to upgrade my account to premium for 2 days now. I get the same Invalid zip code error every time. I tried ever postal code imaginable and tried every option stated here. Why is this happening and how can I actually get it fixed and let me listen to ad-less music.

Same here.. every zip code I tried give the same error. (Spotify Canada). Please help..

I was told that they're doing everything they can to look into it and fix the problem. It seems that it's only affecting new Canadian users at the moment. Fingers crossed that this is solved soon!

It worked today for me. hope it works for everyone now 🙂

Mine also worked! Premium ahoy!
