a radio for me in someone else's profile

a radio for me in someone else's profile

Recently I noticed that a radio made for me (for my user) by the app appeared in someone else's profile in the public playlists section, how can this be? And how can it be erased?

Greeting you with a wagging tail karen43!

It is possible that the Spotify radio made for you may have been accidentally made public, allowing anyone to access it. If this is the case, it may have appeared in someone else's public playlists section.

To remove the radio from the public playlists section, you can follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Spotify account and navigate to the playlist in question.
  2. Click on the three dots next to the playlist name.
  3. Select "Make Private" from the drop-down menu.
  4. Confirm that you want to make the playlist private by clicking "Make Private" again.

Once you have made the playlist private, it should no longer appear in anyone else's public playlists section.

It's also worth noting that if you have linked your Spotify account to a third-party app or service, it's possible that the radio playlist could have been shared or made public through that platform. In this case, you may need to adjust your privacy settings on that app or service to prevent any further sharing of your Spotify activity.

Don't leave me in the doghouse, keep me informed!

Hi, how are you? Thank you for your answer, but I don't think that it
resolves the problem, because it is not a playlist made by me, but a radio
made by Spotify, so it doesn't allow me to make it private, that option
doesn't show up, you see? Do you have other suggestions?

Thank you very much.

Seeing you is always a treat - like getting a belly rub!

Ah, thank you for the clarification. In that case, since the radio was generated by Spotify, it's possible that it was mistakenly associated with the wrong user account.

To try and resolve this issue, I suggest the following:

  1. Log out of your Spotify account on all devices and then log back in. This may refresh your account settings and help to correct any errors that may be causing the issue.

  2. Contact Spotify's customer support team and explain the situation to them. They may be able to look into the issue and help to correct it on their end.

I hope this helps, and please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
