I few days ago I made a account for Spotify (new lol) but for some reason my username just shows random numbers and letters

how can I fix this? or is this just normal 

Note: I mean Spotify itself not the community thing

Your username is unique and it's used to identify your account. Sometimes it's an auto-generated username consisting of random letters and numbers, as you mentioned.

No worries though, you can set a display name, which will show on your profile, app, account page, etc. replacing your username. You can learn how to set a display name here.
