this is really frustrating that you simply can't contact spotify directly. not very good service if you ask me. we have spotify free and continue to be billed 9.99 per month. even the log in page says i have spotify free: would i like to upgrade to premium? clearly i'm paying for premium and i really need it to stop and just have the spotify free! thanks.

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

Since this is a billing issue, you will need to get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to assist you further. Normally when this happens you have accidentally created two accounts in the system one of which is still on premium, but they will be able to get to the bottom of that for you.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
